Tudor House

A really old abode

The beautifully preserved Tudor House was built in 1525, which makes it one of Margate’s oldest buildings. Over the years, it’s been home to master mariners, Flemish weavers, cordwainers and farmers. Take a tour for £1.50 and admire its two chimneys and glazed windows, which would have been considered rather showy in their day.
